COURSE OPTIONS: The NSPF® Certified Pool/Spa Operator® (CPO®) Certification program is the world's leading verifiable pool and spa training credential, and is available in either of the following formats:
2-Day In-Person Classroom Training with a Certified Trainer
Or a BLEND of 1-day On-line (Pool Operator Primer) and 1-day Classroom (Pool Operator Fusion)
BASIC Classes - You will need to bring your own "brown bag" lunch, snacks and beverages. (No time to go out for lunch.)
PACKAGE Classes - We provide lunch, snacks & beverages for all LIVE classes.
An open book written examination is required at the end of any program to receive your certification.

Every class offers two 10 to 15 minute breaks per day.

CPO® Certification: 2-Day Live Classroom Course
This 2-day live training program is the most efficient way to get your CPO® certification. It can be an excellent stand-alone course to be a certified pool operator.
CPO® Certification Blended Course: 1-Day Online and 1-Day Live Classroom
This a 2-day course, 1-day Online and 1-day live classroom course. You can take this course's first day online from home or from office and the live training will be taught by our in-house certified trainers at Portofino University.
You can quickly improve your knowledge and reduce risk by taking this engaging, interactive program. This online training program can be the first step to earning CPO® Certification or it can be an excellent stand-alone course in the fundamentals of pool and spa operation. It includes Pool & Spa Operator Handbook and E-book. Must take Live Exam Day 2 and pass to be certified.
Day 1 Online Course - $225.00
CPO® Certification: Day 2 Only - Live Classroom Course
This is for people who have already completed the "Day 1 Only - Online Course". In this course we'll review the day one materials and your state code. Live classroom course is the actual written exam and It's all taught by our certified trainers at Portofino University. For certification you must also attend Day 1 online course and pass written examination.

PoolMath™ Workbook - $25.00
This workbook was developed by the National Swimming Pool Foundation to be a resource for performing essential calculations from pool volumes to chemical dosages calculations. Use this to learn how to calculate pool surface area, pool water volume, chemical dosage amounts, saturation index, filter surface area, flow rate, filter flow rate capacity, turnover rate, heater sizing, spa water draining frequency, make-up water amount, maximum user load, and total dynamic head.

• Books will not be shipped under 14 days or less before start of class.

• By not including a home address on your registration, you are accepting this policy.
